Delaware Divers

The Delaware Divers, named after Delaware County, Indiana, was formed by a group of area divers in 1966.  A constitution was written and the first President elected. Since that time, the club has remained active, and in recent years has had a membership of more than 100 families. Dues remain at $15.00 per year, which allows for a monthly newsletter, event prizes and plenty of food while attending a club event.

Monthly dive outings are held from May through October, and monthly business meetings and programs make up the rest of the year. Annual events include a Treasure Hunt in July, a Pumpkin Carving Contest in October, and several trips to local quarries. Additionally, in mid-summer, at least two evenings are organized at Philips Quarry in Muncie for a dive and cookout.
